Family Session: The Rainey's

It was such a hot day for our session, but Caden made the best of it!

Heather and I had our work cut out for us as well explored Murray's Mill

and chased this gorgeous boy around!

We got some beautiful images, though....and had fun, too!

Bridals { Mika Shea }

I have been so excited to post Mika's bridals! We shot them near the end of May and
finally her big day rolled around on Saturday. Mika, her future mother-in-law, future sister-in-law and great friend Cassie came all the way from Weaverville to my favorite place to shoot!

We also made a stop at Bunker Hill Covered Bridge for a lush, green setting.

Saturday, I drove to near Asheville to shoot Jamie + Mika's wedding, which was country themed nestled in the Western North Carolina Mountains. I'll post their wedding images shortly, but for now, enjoy Lady Shea.

Our youngest neice, Emma, turned three years old just a few weeks ago and I wanted to post a recent photo of her! Isn't she sweet!?

I met the most darling little girl! Her name is Audrey and she is just a ray of sunshine!

Wedding Photography Workshop

On Saturday, February 7th, I attended an incredible Wedding Photography Workshop at The Light Factory in uptown Charlotte. Photographer Richard Israel was the speaker. What an inspirational guy who shares a passion for photography, family and people. It was so great to meet and collaborate with others photogs from the Charlotte area.

It’s so hard to believe that our oldest niece will be turning 9 this weekend! Arwen is such a darling young lady who loves the range and longs to be a cowgirl. Seriously. She is amazing and sensitive, yet impeccably strong. Arwen can out-yodel any cowpoke and can out ride any cowboy cruising the range. Don’t believe me? Click here.
