Motivational Monday!

So I've decided to turn my blog around...we'll see how this goes!

Mondays are hard for all of us! Whether we work in an office or stay at home the whole day...Mondays are still seemingly the day of the week that presents the most challenges to get up and GO! I wanted to add a post today with a little 'pick-me-UP!'

Here are 5 ways to help make NEXT Monday better!:
1. Say a little prayer or devotional - FIRST thing Monday morning! Choose to feel happy, not gloomy!
2. Exercise - Rise and Shine! Who says a quick little walk around the block won't help! Get up and get moving! If it's cold, hot, rainy or snowy out, here's what I recommend: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndVjwkaLGDk&feature=related
3. Plan your day! Make a list and check off each task....and don't procrastinate!
4. Don't get distracted! With Email and Social Media taking over our lives these days...set your eyes on the goal, not the computer monitor all morning!
5. Smile! :) Just because you're fighting your way through Monday shouldn't mean everyone around you should too!

Do you love Bluegrass Gospel Music? If you do, then we have something in common! My husband's family plays {BGG, as we call it} almost every weekend and it's such a blessing to us in so many ways. The Cockman Family just released their new album, "DEDICATED" this month....and it's incredible!

Last week, I took this image for a single (for radio) on the new album that my sister-in-law wrote called "True Love Never Ends." It's so inspired and I hope you love it!

Lake Junaluska....

I love spelling Junaluska..I have no clue why, but I love it...

It's obvious it's been too long since I've blogged, and I'm sorry. I've devoted too much time to the website, the faithful old blog has taken a back seat to my new baby's creation. I promise I'll blog more often.....

WARNING: most of these photos are SOOC (Straight Out Of Camera)

Sooo this past weekend was Lake Junaluska. The family sang there Friday and Saturday night.

This is our little Abigail Washburn.... Lorien Cockman!

Cody

Crystal asked if I wanted to come along on a Photo Shoot with her today, and I'm certainly glad I did! I got to meet a wonderful young man named Cody, and learned that he actually has been to Kentucky and stayed with my parents on a trip with Crystal's husband! What a small world!

It was a pleasure to meet you, Cody! Best of luck in the coming year as a Senior in High School!

Cockman Family at Union Grove Christian Church Homecoming/Old Fashion Day

The Cockman Family sang Sunday morning at Union Grove Christian Church in Union Grove, NC. Before the singing, the choir and members blessed the congregation with singing and music. It was 'Old Fashioned Day' and Homecoming at the church so after the service, a feast lay before us in the Family Life Building!
Emma will soon be 2! The 'baby girl' of the family is growing up all too fast!

Emma couldn't make it without her trusty M & M's!

Joseph is such a little charmer!

We were all very excited to be in Union Grove since next weekend is Fiddler's Grove! It is a festival the entire family attends and enjoys every year! Jessie is Festival Administrator and we are VERY proud and appreciative of all her hard work and dedication.
